Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Designer with 4-5 years of experience in SharePoint layout/page designing, specifically with SharePoint Online, to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conceptualizing and developing innovative design concepts and layouts.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure cohesive and visually appealing content.
  • Utilizing their expertise in SharePoint to manage and optimize content effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop web pages, portals, dashboards, and modules in SharePoint Online. Develop creative designs for diverse marketing projects, demos, and campaigns.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Figma, and Balsamiq.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in coding languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React JS, and AngularJS.
  • Utilize SharePoint Framework (SPFx) to work on Modern SharePoint sites.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
  • Ensure consistency in design and branding across the Knowledge Management portal and app.
  • Experience in designing and developing mobile app interfaces is a plus.
  • Stay up to date with the latest design trends and technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, Fine Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in web and graphic design within SharePoint Online.
  • Preferred certifications include Adobe Certified Expert (ACE), Master Certified Web Professional – Designer (CWP), or other relevant certifications.
  • Exceptional portfolio showcasing interactive design (please include your portfolio or a link for us to access).
  • Extensive experience in user experiences projects, preferably covering the entire lifecycle from user research through design to validation.

Soft Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Effective team player with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders and team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an agile mindset.
  • Open to innovation, creativity, and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality work in a timely manner.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure.

Must have technical skills:

  • Prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Figma, and Balsamiq.
  • Coding languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React JS, and AngularJS.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator and Dreamweaver.
  • MS Office products like PPT, Word, Excel, etc.

Good to have technical skills:

  • SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and React JS
  • Knowledge of Power BI and other web analytics tool.
